Quote of the Day in honor of the Robert Rauschenberg retrospective opening tomorrow at the Tate Modern in London. "Six sensational decades of work finally reveal the man in full." "Driven by an insatiable curiosity, the groundbreaking artist took the triumphs and wreckage of American life and turned them into art – and this brilliant show captures his extraordinary range" - review in The Guardian The show brings together more than 200 paintings, sculptures, photographs, digital prints and performance pieces from the US artist's six-decade career. The exhibition covers Rauschenberg's work from the late 1950s to his death in 2008 and is the first posthumous retrospective of the pioneering artist. Exhibition is open from December 1, 2016 until April 2, 2017.
