In the studio: Reworked this 35” (89cm) round piece prior to open studios. Wanted to try toning down my usual bright color palette. This is one of my first “Circumference Series” pieces – now ver 2.0. Getting old and incomplete pieces from the painting storage rack and reworking them is definitely a valuable part of my studio practice. . . Today in art land: Shows come down a lot faster than they go up. My hometown art pop up show in Mill Valley was a great success and participating in the art walk was a big bonus. Thanks to the art commission for organization the Mill Valley art walk and @brandedmv for a beautiful venue. One of my goals as an artist is to have my paintings on display somewhere every day of the year.
