Wintertime studio experiments: My translucent blue 30” round experiment is on the wall for a quick look. This is a piece where I played with layers upon layers of cobalt blue… Experimenting with color shifts and translucent glazes. Learned a lot with this piece that started out white with a very vibrant colors in the bands of textures. Goal was to get the underlying color bands to recede. It’s been a fun month playing with

Saturday in studio: Time lapse mode of one of a few color and translucent coats to be applied on this small round concept piece. I had put this 30” round piece to the side for a few weeks and broke it out today for more experimenting. I’ve wanted to do a circle ️ concentric design for a while and glad to get it out and onto the canvas. No idea where it will end up
