In the studio: My art practice involves repeating the same process again and again. The sheets of materials for large pieces (as many of my instagram followers have seen) requires weeks of pouring acrylic paint. I'm close to having enough materials to get started on larger paintings. . In the studio: Going back and fixing all the cracks and potholes in these last pours. Not every pour dries flat and smooth so a bit of patching and filling is needed. Timelapse makes the repair crew AKA me – look quick on the crack repair job. Another late night in studio land. Turn up the music and stay tuned…. .

Today in art land: Shows come down a lot faster than they go up. My hometown art pop up show in Mill Valley was a great success and participating in the art walk was a big bonus. Thanks to the art commission for organization the Mill Valley art walk and @brandedmv for a beautiful venue. One of my goals as an artist is to have my paintings on display somewhere every day of the year.

One of the two new pieces installed at Engel & Voelkers new office in Sausalito. The space is an old Sausalito firehouse with huge windows overlooking San Francisco Bay. This piece is a 84" (2.16m) round "Braided Flows" from the Braided series. Another painting "Denali" was installed in the boardroom on the 2nd floor.
