Studio cleanup today and ended up with a mini retrospective on the wall. Circumference Series – Circle Square Below , Braided Series – Center Up, Shard Series – Gossamer Fringe and Veil Series – Pontchatrain. They are 18×18 to 24×24 on wood panel. . Some studio days the project is to empty the overstuffed painting racks and storage spaces. Some old fav paintings going to storage, gift a free, other stretchers getting handed off to other artists. This small gem was delivered today to a private collector in Santa Barbara Ca that discovered my work online. From the Circle Back Series. I generally work at these smaller sizes to experiment and explore new ideas. There were two of these woven cascading texture pieces created and they still remain a favorite of mine a couple years later. Very happy to see this one going to a new home on the California coast.
