Sunday in the studio: The 18 pieces have now multiplied to 21. Seems like a good idea! Maybe not ?! The multiple under coats is now on layer 3 of 4 coats. May need 5 coats to get these canvas and panels to the glossy and rich base surface I like. A series of multi panel gestural pieces are in the works. Today in the studio: Liquid acrylic mix day. Perfecting the liquid acrylic and acrylic medium mixture formula. With all the rain ️ pieces have not been drying to the finish I like. In the studio: Back to rolling and rolling a few more. Project will need maybe 200 to 300 of the paint pucks to complete the next layer. Quick time lapse video before they jump on a panel or roll off the table. Cranking up the speed on making hundreds of these as those pesky deadlines are approaching.
