Everyone in New Orleans has a "water line" For some of us the water line was embedded during Hurricane Betsy, others Hurricane Camille or most recently Hurricane Katrina. Returning to my hometown this week reminds me of the tragedies and more importantly the strength of the community of folks in South Louisiana. . . Recovery, community, culture, music and storehouses of energy are and will continue to be repeating themes in my work. Great to be home. . .
