In the studio: Another all black painting reworked and in the middle of multiple varnish coats – this is from one of my Braided Series pieces. As mentioned before I like doing black pieces as part of any series. This 35” round needs a few more gloss varnish coats to give the texture better depth and to highlight the flecks of color from the underpainting. . . . Art makes an excellent holiday gift! DM
